Missing safety fence/gate

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 16:55, Tuesday 3 October 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5057980.

The children crossing was added a few month ago. However the opposite site was left untouched which means that children can cross the street through the open space. An extension or additional fence could prevent this and block this gap.

  • This enquiry should be re prioritised as it presents a safety risk for young children exiting the path. Especially when cars are parked in this area which reduce the visibility of the incoming cars in the street Here is the wider view of the unfinished gate and a view of the other side. If one end can be done correctly, surely the other end can be fixed to support the safety of children eager to cross the street.
