Parked cars from garage blocking safe access to ststion

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction to Highway category anonymously at 21:49, Monday 20 November 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5234979.

The Crown garage situated on slip road to town side of Orpington station is parking cars every day on the railway road used by staff to access railway depot. I’m not sure if this is railway property but the cars are parked on yellow lines. Often no clear gap is left for passengers to cross via bus garage to station. THIS IS COMPOUNDED BY FACT THAT THEY ALSO USE A SMALL LINK ROAD OPPOSITE GARAGE THAT LEADS INTO BUS GARAGE and with a buggy this small road is often completely blocked by cars. There is no room to get a buggy past. You cannot go up the steps so I have to push my grandchildren into the most major of the roads with oncoming buses to get to the station. The picture isn’t too clear but I didn’t want to incriminate any of the cars, which have been left at garage.
