  • Actually Bromley council, if the vehicle is being driven with no insurance then it’s a police issue that outweighs the DVLA issue. No insurance is an indictable offence whereas no tax isn’t. This should be passed over to the police.

  • Bromley Council do not have mobile ANPR vehicles so have no authority to stop vehicles being driven untaxed on the public highway. This incursion falls within the remit of Police legislative powers only. However, if seen parked up then a tax warning could be issued with a copy of same being forwarded to the dvla. We do not deal with Insurance or MOT incursions as they also fall within the remit of Police. This report should be directed to the police and dvla for their investigation/further action as we have not witnessed the vehicle being driven
