Dead Tree

There is a dead tree outside our house at 86 Charterhouse Road, br6 9ew

It would be great if this could be replaced with a new tree

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Works are raised and in hand to be completed by the contractor to remove the dead tree. A replacement has been added to the planting schedule 2024/25 which is in hand to be planted next planting season starting in November running through to March 2025.

  • Please accept our apologies for the delays, the works have been taken off our incumbent contractor and issued to a third party contractor for completion. We envisage that the contractor will take 6-8 weeks to complete them.

  • The third party contractor you used, was truly awful and cut the tree down onto our hedge. This caused a lot of damage, which we view as criminal damage. It’s taken 20 years to grow the hedge and cannot be repaired quickly.

    I do not believe they knew what they were doing or gave any thought for their surroundings. To let you know we will be looking for compensation.
