Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6192154.
Telephone box outside Chilchester Court 67 Wickham Road. The box is filthy and some graffiti. Local lads use it to smoke weed and seem to use it as a meeting place. We would like the box removed it has been like this for some years.

Thank you for clearing the debris in the telephone next to Chilchester Court but residents in Chilchester Court want the removal of the telephone box as the main problem is local youths use the box as a meeting place and smoke weed etc.
We wonder if this could be possible as nobody uses the box and haven’t done so for some time.
We would be grateful if you would look into this matter for us.
Kind regards
Mrs Angela Pelton

The removal and maintenance of telephone boxes is managed by British Telecom. There is a legal requirement for BT to have a certain number of telephone boxes per area, but enquiries for removal should be directed to BT.
