Bins outside fish and chip shop stored on street throughout entire week

Reported via mobile in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 15:26, Monday 15 July 2024

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6232033.

The bins used by the fish and chip shop are left on the street throughout the entire week. This has been the case for years and is causing a significant rodent problem. This photo was taken on a Monday and collection isn’t until Friday therefore the mess gets even more unsightly as the week progresses. I have seen a report about missed collections from this location previously however I feel the larger issue is that the bins are being stored on the street outside of collection times. Thank you.

  • Thank you for the update. I have noticed that whilst there is a more regular collection service for these bins, the issue still persists. The issue being that the bins are left on the public highway 24/7 which is an unsightly health hazard, for what is otherwise a very pleasant row of local shops and cafe. I look forward to hearing the solution for the problem. KR
