2 paving stones raised 2cms above the surrounding ones see photos

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 12:48, Monday 22 July 2024

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6260215.

I tripped over one if these two paving stones that have risen, splitting my chin open. These paving slabs are inconsistent with the surrounding ones and obviously pose a danger to anyone coming along the pavement (outside 19 Quernmore Road). Please be aware there are many older people walking in the immediate area, especially as there are nursing homes very nearby.

  • Since the 2 raised paving stones were replaced another paving stone has become loose and rocks when stood one - paving stone #1 in the photo, also paving stone #2 in the photo is raised causing a trip hazard. Please note that due to all these paving stones being very close to a tree they are all very uneven. Please resolve what will be an ongoing issue either with newly laid LEVEL planning stones or replace this whole section with tarmac.
