Riders still riding horses in Petts wood recreation ground where there is not a bridleway

Reported via mobile in the Public Right of Way footpath category anonymously at 14:53, Thursday 1 August 2024

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6303878.

Why are riders still riding their huge, unmanageable horses along a footpath in a park full of young families and dogs that are off lead? The footpaths in the woods are all churned up by their hooves and horse pooh everywhere. When is this going to be stopped, please?

  • Please a apply a muzzle to your dog and put it on a lead, this is a danger to children. Horses have been here since day dot and have an experienced rider controlling them. Once the Council remove the illegal signs due to the publics fight in court to continue allowing the horses paths, what are you going to moan about then. In the mean time I have passed your illegal taking photos of children to the Police.
