Tree roots lifting pavement

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6456157.

Resident called to report the tree outside 89 Upper Elmers End Road has roots that have started to lift slabs of pavement. This is causing the area to be uneven and a hazard to the resident.

  • Our contractor has been notified to take the appropriate action.

  • Further works are necessary to resolve the issue and have been scheduled for action.

  • The reported issue requires the footway to be excavated to allow for tree root trimming before being reinstated, these works will now be co-ordinated between our Highways and Tree Teams.
