Actually the 2 streetlamps are working at jct of High St Penge, Croydon Rd and Green Lane, but the illumination of the busy crossroads is apalling.

Actually the 2 streetlamps are working at jct of High St Penge, Croydon Rd and Green Lane, but the illumination of the busy crossroads is apalling.

This is both the middle of the carriageway and the 4 pedestrian crossings including the pavement waiting points.

The are just 2 lamp columns here. They appear to be casting light just immediately below the standards, and in no way do they illuminate the crossroads.

The LED segments appear to have 2 illuminated on one column, and one segment on the other.

The former illuminaires spread light around the whole junction.

These new lamps are very directional to a small pool of light immediately below them.

The rest of the junction looks dingy and dangerous.

Please modify the lighting here so the junction is well illuminated for both vehicles and pedestrians.

    Please don't say 'appropriate action' a third time.

    The junction looked fairly dark and gloomy this evening (Wed 18/12/24).

    This is a busy A road junction for traffic and busrs on all arms of the crossroads on Penge High Street with many pedestrian movements including school children changing buses.

    It just looks really badly lit.
