Inappropriate bin type
Reported via mobile in the Public Litter Bin category anonymously at 10:11, Sat 7 December 2024
Sent to Bromley Council 4 days, 5 hours, 21 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6830362.
This bin needs to be replaced with a man anti-spill bin as litter is being blown all over the place and animals are scattering the contents daily over the street attracting rodents and other pests
Suggest a floor mount bin with larger capacity on the corner. Just like the one on the other side of the street

Good day, Our service provider attended the location, the bin has been emptied and the fly tip removed however, we ask that new and separate occurrences of issues are logged as new reports to avoid conflicting information or updates and ensure the information is passed promptly to our teams and contractors. Please log the issue regarding the request for a replacement bin at this location via https://fix.bromley.gov.uk as a new report using the map marker and description to detail where the issue is located. Please note that if the location you wish to mark is already occupied by a pin, you can hide the map pins via the button in the bottom left or you can click a nearby free section of the map to drop your green reporting pin so that all other yellow pins indicating existing reports disappear, you can then click and drag your green pin to the correct location and continue submitting your report.

Thanks for your response however- you've not read my original report.
1. The request was for the type of bin to be changed from an open top bin on the lampost to an anti-spill bin which doesnt allow birds and animals to get into the top of the bin and scatter the litter everywhere.
2. Regarding your comment: 'the fly tip removed' - it has still not been removed - the fly-tipped rubbish is still all over the street and now has been scattered further afield because it's been left for so long.
3. Regarding your comment: 'we ask that new and separate occurrences of issues are logged as new reports to avoid conflicting information' however, we ask that new and separate occurrences of issues are logged as new reports to avoid conflicting information' - this report is not directed at that. In fact ,myself and my neighbours have filed separate reoprts about the fly tipping already. and these have still not been addressed
