  • It's already breaking up.

Posted anonymously at 17:39, Mon 23 December 2024

  • This is really badly left.

The whole junction is in need of a complete redesign Going straight on Mayfield Avenue you have to mount a cliff face which scrapes most people’s cars The right of way has a tiny little lip which doesn’t slow down most drivers.

Therefore, you have super fast speeding people and those you have to give away can hardly get up the cliff edge Let alone being able to cross on foot

You’ve now made it even worse by dumping a load of tar in the middle

Please review this whole junction and fix it to a proper standard

It is totally unacceptable the way it is and it’s destroying everyone everyone’s cars

  • Why are we being asked to submit a new report when the original problem remains unresolved? Surely this report should be left open, so progress can be checked? Many thanks.

Posted anonymously at 11:42, Wednesday 8 January 2025

  • What’s the update on this issue?

The road is still not fixed

There is still a dangerous size speed bump which damages peoples cars

The speed at which people travel across the junction is still extremely dangerous for pedestrians - a lot of commuters and school children have to cross this daily

Please review this whole junction and fix it as soon as possible. The issues have been ongoing for years.

  • First reported twenty eight days ago, the attempted repair bodge, looks totally unprofessional.

Posted anonymously at 19:16, Friday 17 January 2025

  • I am disappointed that this poor quality repair is accepted as being a fit and proper outcome. This report needs to be left open, so we can track the repair through to a successful conclusion. Many thanks.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 21:21, Friday 17 January 2025

  • Thank you for your update, Our contractor has been notified to take appropriate action. We apologise for the delay.

Posted by Bromley Council at 13:10, Thursday 23 January 2025

  • The contractors have also left a massive pile of bricks and soil by the side of the road - really not an acceptable way to leave things. I very much hope our council tax is not going towards these useless workers.

  • Thank you for your update, Remedial repairs remain outstanding with our contractor and our awaiting completion. We apologise for the delay.
