Bits of crossing island in road after perhaps being hit by vehicle. Please remove bits of island from road.

  • Debris has been removed from the highway where indicated. Further works are necessary and will be raised to address this defect.

  • For information, the order for this repair remains outstanding within our contractor's planned schedule of work. Further arrangements are currently being undertaken to provide traffic management and/or the necessary specialist equipment in order to undertake these works.

  • Please bear with us. These works are still outstanding with our Minor Works contractor. Officers are unable to provide a time frame as when these works will be completed.

  • When will this be completed please? In the meantime can the yellow plastic barriers around this site be re-positioned around the crossing and secured.

  • Officers are unable to provide timescales as to when these works may be completed but we have reminded our minor works contractor of them. We will ask them to reset the barriers in the meantime.

  • Why can’t Officers provide a timescale? Who’s in charge here, you or your rubbish contractor?? You have to ‘remind’ them??? Oh come on.

    The yellow barriers are all now laying on the ground.

  • LBB apologises for the delay which has been due to demand. Works to replace this crossing island have been planned-in and will be taking place soon.
