Rather large pot hole and blocked drain

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 13:39, Tue 7 January 2025

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6945290.

Rather large pot hole formed around drain.

This blocked drain was reported in 2023, and 2024 as was advised that further work was required which was never actioned.

How much longer are the residents of Bourne Way going to be subjected to standing water due to defective drains.

Note this road surface was replaced in 2024 however the residents note that the repairs were not carried out to highway standards (concrete base) and a waring cover was only applied.

  • I’ve seen the Titanic turn faster.

Riney who completed the resurfacing works in 2024 to address the first pot hole did not complete the concrete sub base and this is the reason the surface has failed again.

  • Works now completed apart from yellow line painting yet Riney have not removed their chapter 8 safety barriers. The big ones the yellow ones.

Please tell to them to do so otherwise they will incur the displeasure of the Bourne Way residents.
