Burwood Avenue needs cleaning

Reported via desktop in the Leafing category anonymously at 09:58, Friday 17 January 2025

Sent to Bromley Council 22 hours, 50 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6993203.

Along Burwood Avenue needs cleaning there is a build up of mud and leaves in the gutters which is really slippery and at the end of the road there is a build up of leaves on the pavements near the horse fields,a mobile sweeping unit cam down the other day but the point of sending this out I really don’t know as it cannot get near the curbs because of all the parked cars so it is a complete waste of time and council tax payers money this needs hand cleaning with brooms, shovels etc !

  • This hasn’t been fixed by any stretch of the imagination. The road needs to be highlighted for no parking so that the mud and rotting leaves can be cleared from the road itself. The curbs also need attention as they are being lifted by the tree roots and make it harder to open a car door when parked near them. The trees should be looked at as they are getting increasingly larger and therefore affect the road and houses.
