Tree and bush branches left near playground
Reported via mobile in the Public Right of Way footpath category anonymously at 18:37, Thu 13 March 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7275009.
Not long ago trees near the playground were shortened for safety reasons I believe. After the work was completed a lot of branches were left behind on the green space, near the playground partially blocking access to it from the street. Considering that it is happening right besides the playground we consider it a danger to the children and families what are walking there daily. Also there are lots of weeds and bushes left behind what are causing obstruction on the narrow street.

Thank you for your enquiry. A site visit from the contractor which involved knocking on doors confirmed that the Elder was cut by a member of the public and dumped to which the waste has since been cleared. Separately, the grounds maintenance contractor has organised a site visit for later this week to investigate the nettles/brambles disrupting roadside which you will be informed of the outcome of.
