Pot holes on carriage way to orpington

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7395064.

These have been here for months, nobody has repaired them and slowly getting worse, impossible to avoid them as they are on the bend leading from the roundabout.

  • For information, the order for this repair remains outstanding within our contractor's planned schedule of work. Further arrangements are currently being undertaken to provide traffic management and/or the necessary specialist equipment in order to undertake these works.

  • Still there, very dangerous on bend causing cars to slow leaving roundabout.

  • These potholes have been there a long time on both sides of the carriage way. This is not just one but several making the road dangerous.

    The picture I've added is a screen grab from Google maps, these pot holes are much worse now and cause the car to judder and lose control when going over them, if a motorcyclist was not to know they are there they could potentially be life threatening. The road needs fixing.

  • Incredible that such a busy carriageway has been left like this for months and has taken 6 weeks from first report to be actioned. The amount of damage to tyres and suspension in the thousands of cars that has to go over these each day. Shocking.
