Huge and numerous pot holes as you exit the roundabout

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7418962.

Months of dangerous amounts of potholes and damaging cars that are exiting the roundabout towards Orpington. Will cause a serious accident soon!

  • These potholes have been reported multiple times over recent months, yet you have closed all the reports except for this one. The potholes are very dangerous and require emergency repairs to avoid the risk of accidents/vehicle damage. Please confirm when this will be done.

  • The road surface here is getting worse and worse you can’t avoid the damaged road surface and it really knocks the steering on smaller cars - its getting dangerous

  • Some repairs have been made, but there are still many potholes on the road in this area. Ensure the contractors return and deal with the remaining potholes. Potholes are dangerous.

  • In acknowledgement that there are a number of outstanding remedial repairs on the network our Contractor has taken action to carry out temporary ‘make safes’ to keep the network safe while they continue to programme the permanent remedial repairs. These will be revisited for permanent standard repair.

  • Permanent reinstatement of this area remains outstanding with our contractor. The picture attached does not refer to the original area described and scheduled for action. We are however aware of this issue and repairs have been ordered during our routine inspections. Thank you
