I've no idea what the last update from Bromley Council meant but a week later the bollard is still not in place and that side of the width restriction is now also being used by vans and lorries going in the wrong direction.

The bollard was replaced this morning, only to be removed to allow a large lorry (the picture doesn't do its length justice) to back through it. The bollard was then replaced but surely there ought to be some sort of locking system to be used to allow emergency vehicles through.
In the meantime the lorry totally destroyed a utilities cover in the pavement during its manoeuvrings which I'll report next.
