Always huge amounts of glass in gutters

Reported via mobile in the Litter and Detritus category anonymously at 10:18, Friday 16 May 2025

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7577942.

I’m afraid there always seems to be a serious problem with dangerous piles of glass everywhere in Ridsdale Road. Once it appears, it seems to take at the least a week to only half be removed. Sometimes months. This is all rooted back to the issue of so many open bins, foxes, windy days, and add to that the absolute disrespect of people that hang out in the street and throw litter. How can we tackle these things? Wheelie bins would make a huge difference. Similarly, how can we ask people to respect the grass areas near the Anerley arms that are always covered in litter and dog poo. It is such a dangerous area to walk a dog and is becoming enough of a problem that we don’t want to walk ours in the dark.
