Hello. A tree was removed from this area around a year ago and the tree pit has been left empty albeit some thoughtful gorilla gardeners are at least planting flowers. Can you please arrange for a new tree to be planted and confirm dates

In line with the LBB Tree Strategy, this tree will be replaced in the next 2-3 years with a suitable tree species for this location. At the time of ordering works to fell a tree, officers note a new tree on the nursery order so that it can be planted ideally in the following planting season. Please bear in mind, it may take more than one year for the tree to be replaced due to several varied factors. Tree planting season in the UK is November to April every year. We do not plant outside of this time as they would have diminished chance of survival. Thank you for your patience.
