Manhole covers x 2 lower than carriageway surfacing

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8397042.

Since the carriageway resurfacing after roundabout works 2x manhole covers and frames are set below the carriageway surface causing severe vehicle suspension travel. this is both very uncomfortable and dangerous and will only get worse with the umber of buses in this route that will pick out the surfacing very quickly. please raise frames and covers to suit the new surface. thanks

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The area will be monitored during the warranty period and any defects which meet intervention levels will be repaired at the contractor's own costs. The manholes in questions are being checked regularly and a job will be raised in the New Year if required.
