Domestic waste contractor leaving wheely bins on the footway as an obstruction and eyesore fronting 38-60 Lennard Rd Penge even number houses (with two wheel parking too). The bins were empty so they were left there by the contractor. Photos Friday 14/11/25 at about 1.10pm.

  • Please stop using these 'could be one reason or another' replies.

    Please state clearly and unambiguously what the reason is.

    In a similar report in Shortlands, Road a month ago, you said that you would contact the contractor, Veolia, to remedy the issue.

    Please do not just say 'no further action is required'.

    I attached two photos of several wheely bins left, empty, obstructing a narrow public footway.

    Please take action to ensure this does not happen again and apply any contract penalties as appropriate.

  • Thank you for your report regarding wheeled bins left on the footway outside properties 38–60 Lennard Road (even numbers). Sometimes residents or managing agents bring bins forward for collection purposes; however, bins should not be left on the pavement after collection and must remain within the property boundaries. We have reminded our waste contractor, Veolia, not to leave bins on the pavement in future. A site visit was carried out today, and no bins were found obstructing the footway. Based on this inspection and the contractor notification, this report will now be closed. If you notice any recurrence of this issue, please let us know.
