Very noisy drain cover with large chunks of dislodged tarmac
Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category by Tim Webb at 09:31, Fri 5 December 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8504741.
Been there for months, unable to find a report on FMS so I can track progress, separate report raised to request clean up of chunks of the dislodged tarmac on the road. Will this be covered by the overnight carriageway repairs scheduled for 8/9 December? Many thanks.

Getting much worse. See attached photo. The entire drain or gully is shaking up and down whenever a vehicle goes over it.

Failing temporary repair made recently is unfit for purpose. 1. the loud clanging noise is still disturbing residents 2. the temporary repair is already breaking up, see chippings on the road. Escalated to Local Councillors to press for a better solution.
