Leaves left to rot on the park lawns

Reported via desktop in the Litter/Leaves category by David Crowe at 15:57, Fri 12 December 2025

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8539993.

There was early leaf fall this year and now the trees are all bare of leaves. The leaves which have fallen have not once been cleared off the lawns and grassed areas anywhere in the park. As a result with the wet weather this autumn they have lain there rotting. This is unsightly and detracts from enjoyment of Kelsey Park, as well as damaging the grass. Please can they be cleared without further delay

  • You told me on 15 December that action had been taken to "resolve the issue" of leaves rotting on the lawns of Kelsey Park. Some leaf sweeping was eventually done. But the leaves on the main ornamental lawn between the main lake and the herbaceous border are still there and have not been dealt with. See photo attached. I do hope idVerde will be penalised for this neglect
