Tree cut down leaving 1 m high stump outside 56 Andover Road. Tree needs to be replaced.

Thank you for your enquiry. Works have been raised and issued to the contractor to be completed within 3 months to remove the stump.
In line with the LBB Tree Strategy, a felled tree will be replaced in the next 2-3 years with a suitable tree species for this location.
At the time of ordering works to fell a tree, officers request a new tree on the nursery order so that it can be planted ideally in the following planting season.
Residents should be aware that tree planting season in the UK is November to April every year. LBB do not plant outside of this time as they would have diminished chance of survival.
Residents are recommended to join the Tree Friends Program to contribute to the maintenance of these sites:
