Increased litter levels
Reported via desktop in the Public Litter Bin category anonymously at 22:06, Thursday 29 January 2026
Sent to Bromley Council 2 days, 17 hours, 14 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 8798558.
This evening on my walk back to my property from Shortlands Station, up Station Road, there was a significant amount of litter dotted about, by bushes on street corners, on the road consisting of cans, tissues stuck to the ground, cigarette packets and part of a car tyre. I've never seen it like this before - can this please be cleaned up?

The litter levels are rising under and around the bridge at Shortlands Station and all the way up Station Road and around Queensmead Recreation Ground. The examples in the picture are replicated all the way up the street with a shopping trolley and full bin bag dumped opposite the park. The area is becoming mess. Can someone please be sent out to clean it all up.

Thank you for your additional comments. Graffiti on the electrical box has been covered, the litter has been removed and the area has been swept. Our service provider is not responsible for marinating the area by the shops / car park. This area is private.
Thank you for using FixMyStreet to report your concerns to Bromley.
