Need further signage for no HGVs
Reported via mobile in the Sign Missing/Damaged category anonymously at 20:39, Tuesday 3 February 2026
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8832320.
On Monday I was once again stuck for 45 mins along with a number of other cars as a huge HGV attempted to go down Layhams Road into the lanes. There is just not room for cars and a huge lorry to get by and so everyone became completely stuck. I appreciate there are farms that need deliveries but they should either come from the other end through Addington or use smaller vehicles. Please can Bromley Council consider more signs that clearly state HGVs will get stuck if they attempt to drive down.
