Large branch fallen, risk of injury to public

Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 07:43, Wednesday 18 February 2026

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8944221.

A large branch has fallen down in heavy rain. If it had hit anyone it would have caused serious harm, particularly to small kids. This isn’t the first time large branches have fallen. The tree needs to be examined and likely pruned to ensure this doesn’t keep happening, and to avoid harm to people and cars.

  • Hello, the branch is still sitting there, nothing seems to have been done. The tree has not been pruned or anything. Still likely a danger to the public

  • Has the tree itself been inspected to understand if branches need trimming? Other trees in the area have been trimmed, but this tree has not. If very large branches are falling on the pavement, then I'd expect a tree surgeon needs to take a visit and inspect it closely
