Vehicles are frequently parked very close to the junction on Thesiger Road, SE20 7NQ, causing an obstruction and narrowing the road to a single lane. This results in regular congestion, vehicles having to stop and wait for oncoming traffic, and reduced visibility for drivers turning into/out of the junction. The issue has been ongoing for a long time and occurs daily, particularly due to non-residents parking to visit nearby businesses. Some vehicles are left parked for several days without moving. This creates a significant road safety hazard for drivers and pedestrians. Please investigate and consider appropriate measures such as junction protection markings or double yellow lines to prevent obstruction and improve safety.
