Thick heavy tree branch at risk to children
Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 12:40, Tuesday 7 April 2026
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9251016.
Thick heavy branch at risk to young children ( 2 & 6 yrs old ) - the branch creeks in the wind and we heard intense cracking during last week's storm, sounded as the branch was breaking in the winds. Please attend to cut the branch close from the trunk as possible before it falls onto our children.

Hi the tree grows on the river banks, beyond Langley Club's fences. Or is Langley Club s property line on the river bank not set back ?

Thank you for the comment, this comes under Langley park sports ground deed, the boundary looks to go right up to your fence line covering the river and banks.

Hi - from this map on this platform's website, the tree is clearly on public domain in-between the houses of Audrey close and Club Langley,. Happy to grant a member of the Bromley team access to come see the tree and enable forming a plan forward to cut the broken branch over our property.
