Seems crazy to leave this as a patch when redoing all the pavements in St Davids Close

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The scheme is limited to the replacement of damaged asphalt and historic mastic surfaces only. As the area in question remains in good condition, removal and replacement were not deemed necessary. Retaining the existing material will allow it to tie in more sympathetically with the surrounding surface over time.
