  • In line with the LBB Tree Strategy, we aim to replace trees subject to availability of funds in the next 2-3 years with a suitable tree species for this location or nearby location. At the time of ordering works to fell a tree, officers note a new tree on the nursery order so that it can be planted (ideally in the following planting season). Please bear in mind, it may take more than one year for the tree to be replaced due to several factors. Tree planting season in the UK is November to April every year. We do not plant outside of this time as they would have diminished chance of survival. Thank you for your patience.
