Top layer of the road has come away in several locations, leaving large potholes along this section of road. Sorry i cannot seem to upload photos.

The road is steep and, when driving uphill, it can be difficult to get grip due to the holes in the road, and the top layer of road which has disappeared. This is a very steep and narrow section of road which has lost several sections of top layer leaving major bumps, lumps and pot holes. Its been like this for years and please needs to be looked at.

The Council conducts a programme of condition surveys and annual safety inspections of the highway network to identify those localities requiring minor repairs and major refurbishment works. All enquiries are investigated to ascertain the requirements for safety repairs and refurbishment works. In the latter case a street will be considered for a potential scheme as part of the Council’s Major Highway Maintenance Works Programme. At present, our current rolling programme does not feature the reported road in question. In the interim the condition of the highway will continue to receive regular safety inspections and any necessary work undertaken accordingly, specific issues in the road should be reported with location details as new reports via https://fix.bromley.gov.uk for investigation.
