White ford van parked in road, has not been moved for over two weeks

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9619402.

The vehicle is awkwardly parked on the approach to a bend. This is an obstruction to the bus R1 and other local vehicles who have to pull out into the oncoming traffic with low visibility.

This is also obstructing the view for pedestrians crossing from the park. This route is frequently used by children.

This is a dangerous situation and should be addressed. The vehicle needs to be removed.

  • We have investigated this report and found the vehicle to be taxed; a taxed vehicle is a strong indicator of an interested party and therefore the vehicle is not considered to be abandoned at this time and no further action will be taken. You can check the tax status of a vehicle online via: https://www.gov.uk/ check-vehicle-tax. Insurance or MOT issues should be directed to the Police as Bromley do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence.
