Report 4: Burnhill Rd jct with Kelsey Square, Beckenham - the white road markings of 'NO ENTRY' and the double dashed lobes are faded and partly missing. Please re-mark them.

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9619991.

Report 4: Burnhill Rd jct with Kelsey Square, Beckenham - the white road markings of 'NO ENTRY' and the double dashed lobes are faded and partly missing. Please re-mark them.

Again, the problem is because the tarmac road surface was replaced by fancy bricks in the c.2018 £4.4m Beckenham Town so-called Improvement Scheme.

I warned the Council that road markings do not adhere and last on paving bricks and mortar between them.

Bromley Council went ahead with the consultant's whims to brick pave the carriageway.

Now the road markings get quickly damaged and keeping them visible and lawful will be a continual expense to Bromley Council Tax payers.
