Damage to sign and worn paint

Reported via desktop in the Sign Missing/Damaged category anonymously at 16:32, Friday 19 June 2026

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9651359.

The sign on the right hand side has clearly been hit as it is bent out of position for a driver, and not facing the way it should, so the narrow lanes cannot be seen for drivers - especially those of larger commercial vehicles. The other side of the sign is the warning of a school, but this too is bent out of position, extremely dirty and all the red around the triangle to alert drivers has gone. Very dangerous, this close to a school as its not serving its purpose.

  • I do not consider this issue is fixed - the sign is so filthy that you cannot see the word "school and the red hazard around the triangle has not been replaced. The sign is not fit for purpose. A school safely sign must be fully operation around a school for the children's safety.
