Appalling Road Sujrface

Yet again you refuse to take any positive position on the state of this stretch of carriageway. Yet again you reply to my comments with, 'No further action is deemed necessary.'

This, to me, sows a complete disinterest n the problem and a total unwillingness to take any sort of remedial action. I have reported this problem on numerous occasions and, so fear, all my moments shave been totally ignored and dismissed.

Yet you can make improvements to the junction Oof Keston Avenue and Heathfield Road, a much less extensive area than that present in Lakes Road.

Have tour inspectors carried out a detailed examination of the surface in Lakes Road, other than a general one? Should they do so - in detail-then the problems should become blindingly obvious immediately.

You claim repeatedly that no further action is deemed necessary. I am sorry, but there is no way I can accept this and repeat, the road surface is deteriorating steadily and becoming increasingly uncomfortable to drive along. Even you pothole repairs are now starting to deteriorate once more adding to the problem.

I ask that this problem is examined in depth and remedial action taken as a matter of urgency.
