Tall grass blocking view of Croydon Rd
Reported via mobile in the Street Weeds category anonymously at 20:19, Thursday 9 July 2026
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9762329.
As you head towards Keston on West Common Rd where it meets Croydon Road, there is very tall grass/weeds on either side of Croydon Rd which makes it hard to clearly see the traffic approaching at fast distances from either side of Croydon Rd. This is a dangerous place to cross or turn even without the tall grass but now it is especially dangerous, especially for those with lower cars.

This is not within the street cleansing remit
Annually, there are two applications of weed spray, typically applied through Spring and Summer on paved highways (subject to appropriate weather conditions). Once sprayed ‘dieback’ should occur within seven to ten days under normal conditions before the residue is removed through routine scheduled street cleaning activities.
For more information on our weed spraying programme, including the details on the spray used and how it is applied and monitored, please visit the following page on the Bromley website: https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ street-care-cleaning/ weed-controlState changed to: No further action
