• I am writing to bring to your attention a safety concern regarding a tree located near our property, which extends over our wooden fence. Recently, a large branch from this tree broke off during windy weather and fell, blocking the pathway behind our house. The tree’s largest branch hangs low over the fence and frequently pushes against it during windy conditions. Our fence is not in the best condition and is already bent, which makes us worried about potential damage or even collapse if the branch continues to press against it. Given these circumstances, we kindly request that the council assesses the tree as it possess a risk to our property or the safety of pedestrians using the pathway.
